I knew about corruption all my life time since my child-hood . Not that i have seen corrupted people all around . But i had one person who stand all along against corruption ,working in the most corrupted department FCI .
One day at the dining table my father slapped my brother and went off. Coming inside the dining hall i saw my brother weeping . I was shocked to know the fact and it haunts me even today. On further enquiry i came to know the sizzling truth . It was after my graduation i was searching for jobs and also had a dream to do my MBA for which i never had enough knowledge or experience to bag a seat in best B schools. So the alternative left was to join a next-to-B Grade schools by paying the DONATION. So most of the interviews attended i was selected ,but i need to pay donation for admission. Although my father was working at FCI he was a strict officer with great values and used to follow them in public or even when he was alone . He used to reject Lakhs of money (gunnt bags of money) in early 80's. So obviously he was money less and not able to afford a donation seat. My brother in his late teens , was altough was not against my fathers values , he was very aggressive and used to wonder why his brother be deprieved of MBA seat dueto that so called Donation. One fine day at dinner he asked my father to accept BRIBE and fulfill the requirement.My paused for few seconds, was hed his hands in the middle of the dinner and slapping him said, " Decide todaywhwther you want your brothers MBA seat or Father in two mins and let me know" This same father when died i paid bribe to collect the death certificate . Rs.2000/- This is the fact of life.
