I brought a scooter while i was in university and wanted to get driver's license. I applied for 2-wheeler license, when I went there the officer sent me to a broker and brokers asked me Rs 500 for permit for cars too. I said i dont know how to drive car but he said it doesnt matter as the bribe is same. So instead of paying twice one and save money.
I paid Rs 500 to availed the discount and I still cant drive a manual car. Now I live in UAE and understand the importance of license, how important it is how tough it is get it here.
This is the reason of high accident rates in India and Chaotic roads.
