Recently had to get by Degree Transcripts and a certificate from BU to prove that the medium of education was English. After scouting the internet on how to get the above tow, finally found a blog which summarized the process. Since I don't live in India, I got my wife to go to the University will all the necessary documents and demand drafts, as advised by my college. The person at the university openly asked for bribe and also suggested that without the Bribe it could take more than 15 days for the University to provide the certificate.
Since the Visa grant for my wife was hanging in balance due to the above required documents we had no option but pay the bribe and get the work done. Once the bribe was paid the same officer who said the work could take in excess of 15 days to be completed, give us the required certificates in less than 20 minutes.
