First a policeman called and informed that he has received a passport file for verification. He came home, did the necessary documentation and demanded "something". When we spoke of one of their colleagues, he informed us that the person is retired now, and was already giving discount.
We had to pay INR 500/- after negotiations. A week later, another police personnel called and came, claimed he was from Police intelligence and his signatures would also be necessary.
