I was riding my bike going ro visit an old friend. Jst while i was entering his society premises he came from behind on his bike and blew the horn. We then stopped at the side of the road and were hardly at the speed of 15km/hr as entering the premises. By then a police patrolling group with the sub inspector (Pawar) came from behind and we heard his order in marathi asking to catch hold of us. The police people then stopped us and removed the bike keys from our bikes by themselves and asked for our bike license for which we simply questioned 'why??' 'Can i know the offense?' On this the sub inspector became very agressive and said show what we are asking for and you will get to know the reason when we go to the station. When we held on our part asking why he alligated that we were rash riding at the speed of 15km/hr which was a blunt lie. We were then forcefully taken to the police station and were asked for all the documents like license and bike papers and were then they tried to frighten us by stating that we are filing a complaint and were being tortured mentally to give them our details so that they could file a complaint. Later we were given a letter stating that we were caught without license and asked us to pay the changes to the traffic police office which was at a long distance and our bikes were already in there costody. Then they later took another 3 hours to finally let us go warning us verbally not to repeat the instance which we never committed and the head constable upfrontly asked for some bribe and later also coated 500 rs.So finally after wasting hours in the station, being tortured mentally and wasting our evening for riding the bike at rash riding speed OR way we finally went back home.
