Fine for lane cutting

Reported on March 29, 2011 from Mumbai , Maharashtra  ι Report #25227

At the Haji ********** traffic signal, when one is travelling from Central to Worli Sea Link, there are three ways to move, two lanes are on the right and one is on the left. We had kept our vehicle right and in the correct lane. Inspite of this the traffic police stopped us and asked for a fine that was 650. We had not done any mistake and hence we were upset about it. We argued but all in vain. He finally took Rs 250 and let us go. The traffic policemen have made life **********here in Mumbai. If you want the challan for any fine they randomly charge you.
