I purchased a property around April. After all getting through all the hassles of Bank Loan, it was finally time to register the property and get it in my name.
I went to Registration office with Builder. A person from builder side had already informed us that we will need to pay 20k as bribe to get the property registered. No Discount, No bargaining as it was some FIXED PRICE store.
I played along gave this person 20k. He went desk to desk and offered '**********' to all the Bbaus including the big BOSS. Property registration went through wihtout any hassles. I then inquired with this person to ask what is the price at each level. It was surprising to know that a clerk who takes your photo using an age old PC connected to latest webcam and Finger Print reader, charges 500 Rs per application. Going by number of people present (8), working hours (5) and working days(22). The minimum income for this person would be 22(days)*5(hours)*3(registratione each hours*500(his service charge) = whooping!!! 165000. Left calculating for the big *******
