Forced to pay bribe to get passport verification done

Had to pay a bribe to get passport verification done, while renewing the passport, inspite of having everything correct/legal.

Apart from asking for a bribe, this person wanted me to pay a bribe to a junior official who came home to verify address. Thankfully, he refused to accept it.
