In 2013 I have applied for fresh passport and when the passport police verification phase arrived then Havildars Upendra from Jahanaganj Thana went to my house and asked for 1000 rs to provide the details of the document needed for verification and at that time I was out for some work so my Uncle's younger talked to them and refused to pay this amount then he said if this amount will not be paid then the department will reject the application and then we can't do anything. My uncle's younger son paid 500 and took the details. After all papers was ready I went to Jahanaganj Thana and provided all the necessary documents and signed wherever required and I was done with all the formalities from my side but the SO of the thana refused to sign the papers and didn't approved my application and told me to come some other day. Then I again went to thana continuously for about 4-5 days but that SO guy always refused and didn't listened to me. The Official person of thana told me that I have to pay 1500 for the work to be done otherwise they will submit some false report and I will never able to apply for passport and at the end of 6-7 more rounds I paid 1500 rs. After that LIU guy asked for 2000 rs and same things happened and at the end of this I had to pay 2000 rs to him also.
