I had to pay a bribe to Md. Zahir (Police Officer) contact no. 9051830910 at the Belgharia Police Station (under Barack pore Commissionaire) when I was called by him for the police verification for my passport.
As per actual process, someone from Police Station is supposed to come the residential address for the verification. I was called to the Police Station instead, all my documents were absolutely fine and up to the mark still he started playing trick, he was basically interested how much salary i get and said there are too many issues with your document for that you have to pay Rs. 3000/-, when i said whatever documents you require everything is there, he replied if you need passport and police clearance you have to pay else i will cancel the application with my comments on it.
At the very end I was told to pay the money for the report to be cleared otherwise it wouldn't be passed.
