I had to pay Rs. 100 as diwali bakshis to the ********** linesman so that he could ensure that my broadband connection and the line disturbance I was getting was restored.
The problem started with rains and post the season, the disturbance and BB disruption continued.
I complained in the exchange, got reassurances that things will get sorted out, but didnt happen.
Then this linesman, who had been insisting one way or another for more than 6 months to let him come personally check the line at my residence had to be allowed.
Out of my own discretion, I handed him a 100/- note as diwali ********** and asked him to ensure things didn't go wrong further.
Since then, my line did work better than it was before.
