To get case heard, otherwise the criminal complaint under Sec 188 would remain open and needed bail

Reported on September 19, 2012 from Pune , Maharashtra  ι Report #831

Hi Continuing my ordeal, the court premises was a black market of touts in lawyer dress. The police constable responsible for producing me led me straight to a lawyer of his choice, who informed me that the ********** had decided not to hear any minor offences for the day and for a fee he could arrange for the ********** to hear my case. However I chose a completely different lawyer who was more sympathetic to my predicament. He ensured my case was brought up before the **********, who asked me to post a bail of Rs 15000, if I wanted to go home rather than spend the ********** Chaturthi holidays in Police lock up. The lawyer chosen by me dealt with the court officials and paid up Rs 3000 as a part of the bail and bribes. The result being I could return home and would have to present myself in court when the ********** hears the case again and decides a court fine for not doing police verification of my tenant.
