Hi,
We are part of bangalore's vijinapura NRLayout doorvaninagr area here though water facility is in good condition but we are the victims of bribe,the waterman appointed by water supply board in our area always prompts us to pay bribe directly or indirectly without which there is no water supply and we have to be dependent on Tankers which also costs nowdays 350-400 rs.
The people from all the houses pay him atleast 100 rs when he supplies the water and the person who pays him more (ex:300-500) has unlimited water supply during entire week or month and that to during night times and people are unknown about this untill you see some waterleakage infront of there homes nest day.
We have repeatedly given complaints to water board in vijinapura and there is no strict action taken till date and i strongly believe that these officals are to having bribe shares.
Overall its become a Business "give money take water" for long hrs else the default water supply duration is only half n hr with less water pressure and till next week or two weeks no water for homes and water tankers are only means for us.
We are just fedup of this routine,if any help in this regards its very much appreciated.
