I am from a small place called "Bermo" in Bokaro district in Jharkhand. when my passport verification came in local police station and they called me for the verification they asked me Rs. 700 for the police clearance certificate. this is not only with me. this has become a tradition for the police man's every where. I asked "why should I give that bribe when there is no complaint against me". The policemen told that you have to give the money other wise you will not get the clearance or if we give we will write some case against you.
