Great bargain for Khata service

Mine is an apartment complex named Oceanus Ebony with 46 flats. Flat was given possession in 2007 and so fae we didn't have Khata. When we visited BBMP office at Bellandur for Khata, the officer took us outside for tea and demanded Rs 20000 from each flat. After much negotiation, he reduced the bribe amount to Rs 7200 provided minimum 20 flats applied for khata. Total 20 odd people applied for bribe paying Rs 7200 bribe (+ Rs 1600 paid through DD as Khata transfer fee and development charges). Though we got khata in time, we found that there are some mistakes like name spelled wrongly, apart number written wrongly etc in Khata!! Don't know how much more we have to pay to get it corrected
