Hi, I am working for a MNC, London. I had my parents to apply for passports. I know police will ask for bribe when they come to passport verification, so I called my parents who are uneducated and I told them not to give single rupee to police as it is their duty to do verfication and they are paid for that by govt. My parents said ok. But when the police come to my home, he asked 1000 for each passport and when my parents said that they dont have money to pay, this guy replied that my parents may need to apply for passport again. Then my parents told him that they have only 1000rs and asked him to take that...still he didnt agree, then my father went out and get 1000rs from his friend and paid. Later I called my parents and scold them for all this, my father told me that if we need to apply again that will cost loss of 3000rs and time and we can do nothing againest them. I felt ashame and sad that I couldnt stop it in my own *******
