Today, on the 19th of July, 2015 in the afternoon I had to pay a bribe of Rs.100 to get my passport verification done at the Gorabazar Police Station, Dum Dum. I do not know the name of the officer who did it but it was disgusting and helpless. He said indirectly that my passport would take a lot of time if I didn't pay fees. I asked for a receipt but he completely ignored it.
