This happened at Check in Counters of one of our countries famous private Airline on International Route.
The luguage was 10kg more than allowable limits and pressure was applied first to pay for Extra weight. I agreed to pay. After calculation by check-in staff it was considered that I have to pay for each air route sector and was too much (which as per my calculation and information displayed on airline website was 1/10 of the amount conveyed). Later Check-in staff coordinated with lower staff and I was requested to pay and they will allow otherwise I have to dispose off 10kg.
