Hungry Cutom Officers at Mangalore Airport

When i was coming from dubai, carrying LCD TV. i was asked to pay RS 18000 as custom duty for my LCD TV. i brought TV for just RS 15,000 in dubai, initialy i was reluctant to pay duty OR bride but custom officer compelled me to pay the bride as he was asking RS 18000 which is well above the cost of the TV and he was not giving me any other options( Basicaly these officials are demanding amounts in foreign currency)!!!.. You can understand my situation..
My humble request to the concern autorities monitor the situation in Mangalore Airport as Cutom offial are very corrupt and they are collecting Hefty amount from all passengers even for Non dutiable items!..
