I am an individual from a neighbouring state of Karnataka and there was a dispute between the house owner and two of my friends on the night of 30th of October, 2010. It went to the extent, where my house brought 4 gundas with huge reapers to threaten my friends and asked them to vacate the premises immediately. As it was 11 o'clock in the night we did not know what to do further and the company for which we work for, turned it's back on us, when we asked for help. We called the police. Two patrol men came to the premises after an hour. They spoke to house owner in Kannada (neither me nor my friends knew Kannada) and the house owner pushed 2 thousand rupees bill to the hands of one of the men who appeared to be have an extra star on his flap. The police men asked us to vacate the premises without even asking the story on our side. Finally they followed us to the temporary place where my friends intended to stay for the night. Before we get in to the new place the police men asked us to pay them or they would file a case on my friends' name for posing death threat to the house owner. We had to bribe them 200 rupees for letting us in peace. I brought it on myself!
