I dont know what my mistake was!

I was coming from Hoodi circle at 7:30pm going towards KR puram bridge @ 35kmph, after hoodi circle, there is a signal and there always will be a Traffic police and a constable there ready for collections. The signal turned Green before i could stop and i continued without stopping since the signal was already green.
All of a sudden this traffic constable jumps in front of me and accused me of jumping the signal, when protested, he changed his charge to say that i was over speed limit and was driving rashly. I still protested, he said he will settle the matter in 100rs if i dont pay, his inspector will charge 500rs.
I went to complain to the inspector, he did not even bothered to listen but said he will charge me 500rs!! I got frustrated and angry about this and threw a 100rs note on the constable, who was happy with that money.
Shameless, utter shameless cops!!
