I am sorry to say that some Policeman without their name tags stand at different places of Salt Lake, Kolkata (like near SDF,Sec-5 and few other places in salt lake). They check the documents of your vehicle like Pollution Control and every other one and either you have the documents or not they harass you like anything and ask for money with comments like "We have to pay up to the top including commissioner and all". If you ask questions like where is their name tags are ? or ask them to make proper receipts/Chalan . They start abusing you or ask for more money or try to snatch your vehicle. There misbehavior and greed for money is like anything . Over the top most of them are drunk. It seems most unsafe in "Salt Lake" even above crimes.
