I paid Bribe

I paid Rs. 100 for police verification not because everybody was paying but because that policeman told that sir I have two child and I am working (do not remember since when) and my salary is only Rs. 5000 or 6000. How do i live? I believe it is not the right excuse for bribe but I gave because just by paying Rs. 100, I got my work done and I also respect his honesty for speaking truth.
