I was a student at that time and my placed in an MNC , the company asked me to have a passport issue before in join the firm , so i applied for a passport and I was shocked when in the inquiry officer instead of inquiring about my background asked for money to clear me in the passport verification , since I was left with no other , i paid the bribe to get it approved , but even after paying the same i was wondering does the police inquiry now a days meant for paying the money to the officer instead of checking the background .
