I had applied for a passport renewal and change of address to Pune passport office in Aug 2010. When I was following my case on net I could just see the status that my application was under process. Finally I had a doubt that my case must have been kept at Karveer Police station under whose jurisdiction I live. When I went there I found that the letter from Passport ofice was received by the office In sep 2010 but this people did nothing till i approached there office then after taking 500Rs they completed all the formalities here i will have to mention that I have my own house hence have all the valid documents to prove my address but still they were not doing anything and asked me to come again and again so finally i paid 500Rs even after that my file was pending at SP kolhapur office for the reason not known to me I visted there office and found that they were also expecting some money from me which I didnt pay. The cost i had to pay was delay in getting the passport . I had applied in Aug 2010 for renewal and change of address which I got finally in March 2011 7months after I applied and Rs 500 paid as bribe
