Hi all,
I purchased a bike recently.After a long day at work i dropped my friend in bellandur and caught the service road near sarjapur signal to get back home.To my surprise a traffic police popped in and removed the key from my bike and asked for license.i parked the bike along the road side and showed him my driving license.He then asked me to give Rs 400 for breaking the law as i was riding from the other side of a ane way road.I said him that i was new in bangalore plus their was no one waay indicator on the road but as expected he did not listen.Then after 5 mins of negotiation i did the thing which i hate doing the most "Paid him a bribe of rs 100".
Since i am a firm optimistic and dont believe in criticizing the govt or the system which wont change unless we change.So i have decided to be extremely careful next time and not to break any traffic rule so that the question of paying bribe doesnt comeup.
I just want to appeal everyone that if you have paid a bribe once just accept it and comiit taht you wud not do it again
