I was issued a chalan for not using seat belt

• Paid INR 1,000

The DTO (goes by last name Luthra - i forgot his full name) asked us(me and my Dad) to shell out INR 1000.00 as penalty for not putting seat belt on. I came to know later on that the maximum penalty under motor vehicle dept act is INR 100.00.
