I am a high income, tax payer.
My Income Tax return is filed every year and almost every year it is selected for scrutiny by the department.
This means I will be asked to present all my books of accounts which they will scrutinize thoroughly and try to find some faults.
This is pure harassment in the name of scrutinizing my books because even after my explanations to all queries I am told "Something has to be paid to the senior sahib for clearing the case"
If my name is not selected for a particular year, I will get a call "Last year to case scrutiny me aya tha is bar nahi aya, sahib ko to dena hi hai, aapki sharaddha hai, jo chahey de deejiye,"
