Currently I am in USA, and my parents are in India. To bring them here, I applied online on 12th may but tried after so many times, I am not able to take appointment for PSK, Bareilly. Every day I wake in morning (4.30 PM india time)and passport web site respond that "‘Currently no appointment is available for the selected Passport Seva Kendra (PSK). Please try scheduling an appointment from
I was very frustrated and call passport customer care but that toll free number is not in working condition. Now there is no way for me to get online appointment.
So I contact one of Passport officer Bareilly to get appointment to issue fresh passport for my parents. They say that you cant get appointment online, web site respond only for 15 second when opening at 4.30 pm to take appointment. you have to get in our way to get appointment. There are two way:- VIP process and Normal Process.
In VIP you have to pay 3800 and get appointment within week, and in normal process you have to pay 2000 and get appointment after 20-25 day later.
SO I paid the money to that senior Passport officer seated at old passport office Bareilly in VIP process, and get the appointment.
But Question is that till when this will going on? If web site is running to fill application and take appointment then why we have to bribe? If PSK offices are now in private hand then why this happened?
