I had a katha from Panchayat and CMC. As I had lost the katha of CMC, I was told that the land was not mine and that they did not have records. Although I had obtained the details from the CMC records showing my name in the katha, it was denied. The panchayat katha was not considered at all. I was harrassed I was demanded to pay bribe of Rs.25000. Finally the revenue inspector setttled it for Rs.18000. It is very unfortunate that our system is so corrupt that officials will do anything to grab money.
