Had applied for my wife's passport renewal & the local police station called up for verification. After checking all relevant documents the man-in-charge openly asked for Rs.200 for chai-paani. My wife objected but I gave in because I knew the papers wont go to Passport office if I did not pay up. I did pay him *******
