Looted me at Thane station for keeping foreign currency

It was some years back in Mumbai which was my first trip back to India from Dubai & i was on my way to Kerala from my uncle's house in Mumbai. I had bought a bottle of whiskey from duty free shop on arrival & i had kept at my friends house as i dont want to let my Uncle to know about this. I was waiting at Thane station to take the Netravati Express to Kerala & my friend brought the wiskey to put in my luggage. As soon as he put the bottle in my bag 2 people introduced themselves as police asked to open the bag & they found the bottle. They asked me why i am carrying this & i informed like today morng. i landed from Dubai & showed them my passport etc. Then they asked to show my purse in which they found 300dhs. which they took out & told you have not entered in your passport & you cannot carry this money. By the time the arguement started my train arrived & i begged them to give me the money as i didnt have money to spend in Kerala. Later they decided to give back 100dhs & kept with them 200dhs. This is the way these buggers loot our hard earned money. As it was my first trip i was not aware of the laws like how much foreign currency we can keep.
also i would like add on . while i was going to Dubai with my visit visa the customs in Mumbai checked my underwear too asking u dont carry USDollars. I was surprised & i told no my uncle in Dubai is going to take care of me.. What a shame .. they check the poor people & escorts the terrosits. .Still Mera ********** Mahaan !!
