I had to pay 3500 rupees as bribe which they consider as their fundamental right. I enquired with the stampender as to why we have to pay it, he said everybody pays it sir and to get the work done, even i will have to pay. My property developer was in hurry and asked me to finish off things soon. I had no option but to pay bribe.
One more thing i noticed. I have a lawyer friend who took me to the officer directly and spoke to him. When the officer got to know he is a lawyer, he was extra careful in giving details but when we ask them about the same details, they give the details with a miscellaneous amount(read it as bribe)..
