When i went to Sub Registrar Office for my marriage registration, they took all the supporting documents and then the officer sent me inside the cabin where the clerk sits who prepares the marriage certificates. He prepared the Certificate and asked me Rs.1000/- as FEE. I do not know at that time what is the actual fee. I felt it is tooo much but never thought those people would take that much bribe. I took the certificate and came out and enquired about the actual fee. They said it is Rs.20/-. I was too furious on that officer, cursed him and left the place. I had got thoughts of reporting this to Media, but somehow I could not do.
