On the evening of 14 Aug last year, I met with an accient in my car, severe damage to the car, nothing happened to me. The car was towed to the area police station where it lay for a RTO inspector to inspect it in order to be released. I waited for two days but there was no sign of the RTO inspector. The inspector at the police station told me that I should go to the RTO office and drive the RTO Inspector to the police station as he did'nt hav a ride. I immediately went to the RTO (KR PURAM) wherein I asked for the inspector, the pune then questioned me the reason and on explaining the reason I was told to pay him Rs.1000 in order for him to give me the inspection report otherwise the car wont be released and i'll be the one who'll suffer. Well, fearing the safety of my car I paid him, not only that I even had to pay the inspector 2000 in order to get an FIR so that I could claim my insurance.
