Some came to my door one Sunday Morning and told me, that your meter is defected and need to be changed, I told him that its new meter and was installed just one year before, but he told see your bill, its showing no reading, so I need to change it, he changed it and asked me to pay 1200, meter replacement charge, I asked him to give me receipt, but he did not gave me and told me to come at electricity office, so I asked him I will pay in office, he told me that if you will deposit it in office, you will need to pay more money. So still I was not clear that the responsibility to replace of faulty meter is to end user or electricity department as it was a new meter.
