My friend who lives at hostel n very new to the city got his wallet theft early morning on 7th march. He called me so we both went to the police station. In police station one constable told us we won't register complaint until you get an affidavit from court. N he asked us to wait so that he can go inside n consult some more policemen what could be done. After some minutes he told us that after giving some money to the senior officers he can give us the same affidavit. We had to agree upon that. N in the name of that affidavit he just asked us to write am application for a lost purse. When we asked to write complaint for theft he told we don't write complaints of wallet theft. When we finished writing the application he asked 100 rs. But unluckily neither me nor my friend had 100rs. We asked to pls consider for rs 50. But he then refused to take our application. N finally he took our application.
