Went to the Police Station along with my friend who works in a Government office(my first mistake). The constable there knew about my file. he happened to be one of my classmate's father. He asked me not to worry about anything and he would take care of this file. he offered us coffee and we politely refused. He then asked to talk to somebody on the fron office and pay the fees. I thought it was a legitimate fees and paid him 150, the amount he asked me. There was no receipt concept in Inida back then. After i walked out with my friend, he asked me if i was mad for giving him 150. I should have settled for Rs.100 ans saved 50 for something else. There pigs take money from everybody. After i got my passport i did tell(made fun) my other friend that his dad took Rs.150 from me and he told it was normal.
