I am in USA. My Vehicle was at my cousin's place in pondicherry. At 11.32 PM in the night, my vehicle was hit by a qualis driver and dragged for 100 feet by a reversing vehicle. My cousin did not even know about it, someone on his apartment saw it and reported it to him. He went to the police station with the vehicle number and reported the accident. The police instead of finding out who is responsible and filing a case against them, found them and took bribe from them as well. When my cousin asked for a FIR, they wanted bribe. They have asked 4000 Rs from my cousin failing which they said they cannot give a report and instead they would file a case of theft against my cousin and he would be jailed for it. The entire system should change, look at USA, once in an accident, the police comes to the spot looks at the damage and writes a report on the spot. Also, points are attached to the person responsible for the damage. Once these kind of brats are bought to justice, India will become heaven. I want to come back to india but because of incidents like these, i doubt my thought process everytime.
