While touring the Mysore Palace a security guard opened up the barrier the the Private Durbar room and told us that he would show us some "Special things" After allowing us to walk around the restricted area of the room for 5 minutes he asked for money. I gave 10 rup and he protested that he needed more because his boss who was watching the whole time needed to be paid also. I gave 10 rup more and walked away. They must do this all day long.
