Well this is the case i have not paid but asked to pay bribe. and totally on foolish and false grounds. this is the case when we purchased raw material. paid excise. got the material and used used it also. we have all proofs. from excise pass, challan, transport .bill etc but some problem at other end from where we purchased material. and they r in capable to pay so excise people came at our factory and says we know u r not at fault but since we have a call from above. (senior person-not name specified) has aksed me to collect illegally. now when he admits we r not at fault but he has pressure from top. so what can be done. what we can do, still we have not bribed 2-3 lkhs he asked for. pl. suggest immediately
