Need License Back
- Police
- Traffic Violations
- Paid INR 200
I was in connaught palace (Delhi) and on red light I took left turn and cops stopped me? and ask for my license and bike registration papers however before showing them I ask what for and why you stopped me? They said are you not sure of traffic rules and on red light you have taken a left turn. I told them maybe I'm wrong on taken a left turn but before pointing on me kindly let me know why you guys do not do your work properly by putting the sign board like: NO FREE LEFT TURN or something?
He said talk to the government about this...!! (How come gov came in from no where?)
Without wasting any more time on endless conversation I showed him my all documentations and it was all good then he said you break the red light so you have to pay Rs. 500/- I said I will not for sure and keep my license I will pay to court.
And he gave me the ********** of after 15-16 days for those many days I have to keep that paper so called "chalan" save so I can show any more GREAT COPS of New Delhi that I've been busted already so you are not gonna get any thing from me....
Finally the day came I went to the court first time and as not aware so asking people where to go and guess what??? you are right no sign boards..... lol
Some how found the place and there are many people waiting to there turn to come to get there license back and I was also waiting and one guys came broker or "dalal" ask are you in hurry? I said well yes as everyone so you can not go before us so be queue... he laughed and said I can get your license early.
Then I come to know he need money as he is a broker or "dalal" so I ask him how much you need he said Rs. 200/- and as I was getting late and there are more then 50 people in front of me I agreed to pay him Rs. 200/- but still I have to wait for quit long to get it.
So, that is my one story out off many of these and I'm sure every Indian or peoples of other countries have these kinds of story. I will not say bribe is totally bad I believe so how it is needed to run a country but if this happening in large scale like INDIA then it going to destroy the country and people's trust among each other. So, steps are needed I appreciate your this one step no every citizen of India need to take there.
