While I was visiting with my family from USA to the holy city of Amritsar this incident happen.One of my relative had come from
Chandigarh and was driving us to the Golden TEMPLE.somehow we entered no entry Road by mistake and realized,so turn back.All of a sudden Traffic police on scooter came behind and stopped us.
I told him we were out of town and apologized.He knew we were from USA so started talking to the Driver.I asked him to write a ticket so we can pay as it was our fault.He never wanted to write a ticket as he was looking money in cash form.He took the driver away from us and threaten he will loose the license
Finally he took 250.00.and walked away.WOW IN A HOLY CITY.Shame
on you police.
