I was coming to ********** a client in seepz, where ina visitor needs to procure a gatepass before entering , i can from the JVLR side and since the person who would get my gate pass was late, i parked the car a little before the seepz gate, and started to call the person, moment i finished the call, i saw a traffic policeman standing by the door demanding the lic, i told him that there was no board which instructed not to park, to which he pointed to a sign which was placed in such a manner on the footpath that a person coming from JVLR could never see the same, i apologised and requested him to allow me to go , as normally if car is parked in a no parking area and if the driver is in the car, police men do not harras them, but this man knew that i was his bait... he instructed his man to lay the locks on my car... i had to give my lic, i told him that since i was in a hurry, i was ready to pay the amount to him as bribe ( I meant the full amount of 100 Bucks) .. to which his greed increased.. now he started asking me for insurance /. pUC etc... when i requested that i was getting late.. he stated that i can now pay off 700 bucks (thinking that i will then offer the 700 bucks to him... ) honestly till then i had lost all hope .. knew that he had made his mind on me... i pulled out 1000 buck note and expected him to give me 300 back with a traffic slip... much to my expectation he kept the money... when i asked for the receipt he started swearing at me... since i was getting late.. i requested him to atleast give 500 bucks back... to which he obliged.... trust me... i pity the guy .. because he has no option but to do the business of taking bribes.. my contention is that had the board been placed correctly, i would not have made the error.... but i think the traffic dept has a revenue target both personal and official.. Honestly i feel ashmed to be an indian and staying in the land where there are targets to penalise ppl... Mera ********** Mahaan, Hare ********** Hare **********...i consider traffic police as pure bastards.... hungry bloody bastards...
