This is a short story as its common to every one who purchase an apartment. After I bought an apartment, the time came when I have to register my property at registrar office. Every thing was arraged by my Builder NCC. He asked me to bring 10K cash while coming to Registrar office. When I reached there all the documents were kept ready by one of the NCC agent and akded me to simply pay 10K to the assistant clerk and sign the documents. I asked is it 10K is part of registration fee, they said no. Then I understood that its a bribe. But I didn't ask any further question as I wanted to complete the formalities in smooth manner. This the problem with every common man as no body want to mess up with the gov. work and want to finish as fast as possible and as smooth as possible. There could be one more reason that we don't have time to spend on such work apart from our busy schedule. I am really clue less how to tackle this kind of bribe.
