I had to pay the sub registrar of Kumaratchi (Kattumannarkoil Tk, Cudalore Dt) rupees 10000 for registering the purchased land. Also the assistant at sub registers office collected around 1000 rupees from us to give the documents. In between, they have taken almost 2 months to give the registered documents and made us to wait for up to 2 hrs on the day they gave the documents. Also asked for some money while giving the documents. The officer doesnt come to office on time, also he is not doing his duty properly and asking bribe for the work he has to perform. I felt very bad about the way he is handling people and getting bribe from Poor people.
