We recently purchased a duplex house in the city out skirts. As a routine, property verification was needed. We went through all the process required. One representative had to come home for checking. Instead of checking our property. He came home had a cup of coffee and asked for 15000. He also said it is required for speeding up the process. Inturn, he said the documents and the property will never match. there would definitely be some difference. With no other option left, Dad had to pay the money specified.
It was the first experience for me!! A 100 or 500 being asked by Traffic police was common. but this I never expected!
