Paid 2000 to customs @ mumbai airport.

• Customs, Excise and Service Tax
• Customs Check and Clearance
• Paid INR 2,000

During my visit to India in 2008, I was forced to pay INR2000/-to bring my handycam inside the country. They keep their man outside to collect this money. In fact most of the NRI's have to pay some bribe due to lack of knowledge about indian customs. The customs guys sit with some crap book, which itself is not clear in terms of what actuals duties to paid to the government.
