Paid 500 for passport police physical verification

Police officer in byappanahalli police station demanded 500 rupees on 17th march 2018 morning as "fees" even though all documents are in order. When I questioned him, he hinted that we may not get passport without Clean Report. Finally ended up paying as there is no other alternative except running pillar to post in case passport is denied.
