Paid a bribe to get clearance from Income Tax scrutiny

I was served a Income Scrutiny notice. My Income Tax practitioner attended the hearings. After every hearing more and more papers were required to verify my credit card expenses and other transactions. After 3 hearings I was told that there was no problem but was told to pay Rs. 5000/- to get the process completed without spending any more time on this account. I was fed up by then and agreed to do so to save the hassle
